LΙΘCA is a luminous dreams joint project from lighting designer Petros Dermatas and artist Fotini Polydorou.

The LΙΘΙCA collection reflects an in depth exploration where the timeless qualities of ceramic, bronze and glass, meet the immateriality of light

Drawing inspiration from the archaic : form and material intertwine to create objects. These objects become vessels of light, transforming spaces with their tactile presence and timeless geometry.

At the core of LΙΘΙCA lie the ceramic surfaces. Elemental designs shaped by hand and fire evoking a connection to humanity’s primal explorations of form and function.

Accents of bronze complement the solidity, patinas ground the collection in material permanence

and delicate glass diffusers soften and expand the visual experience.

LIΘICA transforms light into an artifact—a luminous connection between past and present, material and immaterial, a collection for those who see design as means of engaging with history, space, and the ineffable quality of light itself.

LIΘICA offers a variety of complexity and simplicity: Either from the minimalist approach with emphasis on form, where the material takes the center stage or when detail comes to the forefront with richer visual complexity, celebrating the beauty of decoration. LIΘICA remains part of the same larger narrative of light and material exploration.

Each piece, whether richly detailed or elegantly minimal, becomes a luminous artifact, which speaks to an era when objects were imbued with both ritualistic significance and functional purpose.
