luminous dreams is a lighting design workshop established in 2022, in Athens, Greece by Petros Dermatas.

The workshop specializes in bespoke lighting, designing and manufacturing its own lights, as well as creating lighting installations.

Synathroisis

Luminous Dreams won the open call for the annual light festival of the SNFCF and was able to realize its project proposal. The inspiration for the luminous landscape created by Petros Dermatas came from the image of lit lighters raised in the hands of audiences at concerts of the past, as a sign of participation and interaction.

Beef Bar Athens

lumious dreams was commissioned to to construct a lighting installation for Beefbar Athens outdoor bar.

Loom Athens

lumious dreams was commissioned to create a bespoke stairway lighting system for Loom Hotel Athens.

LIΘICA

LΙΘΙCA: a contemporary light collection that invites reflection. LIΘICA reimagines the luminaire as a sculptural object—both timeless and contemporary—designed to integrate into spaces while sparking a dialogue between design, artisanship, and material essence.
